There were many steps to constructing this buffet. It took 5 weeks of almost
full-time work (7 days a week for the last 2 weeks). We wanted to deliver it
when we visited Gretchen and Brian for their baby shower in early November. We
made it with a day to spare. We follow the progress as the various pieces
are cut out, glued, stained and finished.
It has
- 3 fixed shelves,
- 3 pull-out shelves,
- 3 drawers and
- 2 doors.
The drawer faces and doors are plywood with strips of stained
mahogany inlaid in random patterns.
